Our first adjustment since 2025. Inflation has hit every business, ours included — as much as we'd love to hold today's prices forever, this change is what lets us keep giving you the same unhurried, hands-on care for years to come.
Intake Visit
75–90 minutes — full history, exam, and treatment plan.
Regular Visit
30 minutes — assessment, adjustment, and muscle work.
Extended Visit
45 minutes — added modalities and deeper care.
Re-Evaluation
45 minutes — reassessing progress and your plan.
No card fees. Not now, not ever. Plenty of offices quietly tack up to 3% onto your bill when you tap a card. We cover that cost ourselves, because charging you extra for the privilege of paying is a junk fee in a lab coat. Cash, card, or HSA/FSA, the price you see is the price you pay, down to the penny.
Intake — $150
Your first visit is an extremely comprehensive intake session, running 75–90 minutes: about 15 minutes of getting acquainted, a full 60 minutes of hands-on care, and about 15 minutes at the end on what to expect, when to reach out, and your recommendations. We take the time to understand your history, your unique needs, and your concerns, and conduct a detail-oriented exam to build a treatment plan tailored to your specific condition. The $150 fee covers this full assessment, plus an adjustment and muscle work that same day if indicated.
Regular visits — $70
Once your intake is complete, regular visits are $70 for a focused 30-minute session: about 5 minutes to catch up, a full 20 minutes of hands-on care, and 5 minutes to debrief and go over care suggestions. Each visit includes a detailed check of your posture, joint restrictions, and muscle tone, plus the adjustments and treatments you need that day, working toward less discomfort, better mobility, and overall wellness.
Extended visits — $90
Some days call for more time and attention than a regular visit. Extended visits are $90 for 45 minutes: the same structure as a regular visit plus an extra 15 minutes of hands-on care, for a more thorough exam, in-depth adjustments, and supportive modalities like heat therapy, cold therapy, or muscle relaxation techniques for specific conditions, activities, or personal preferences.
Re-evaluation visits — $90
Your health changes over time, so periodic 45-minute re-evaluation visits let us assess your progress and adjust your treatment plan as needed — an essential part of your ongoing care.
10-visit packages: 10% off, on your schedule
A 10-visit package gives you the same 10% savings as a membership, without the monthly commitment. You prepay for 10 visits and use them whenever it works for you. That makes it a great fit if you come in less than once a month, or if your schedule changes a lot. It's just another way Golden Bear gives you options that work best for your life.

Today, 10 extended visits cost $810. Starting January 1, the same package is $1,125, and paying visit by visit is $1,250. Packages never expire, so you can buy now and use your visits whenever you need them, next month or next year.

And just like last time, we hold off on price increases for as long as we possibly can. We aim for this one to be the last for a long while. (The Porsche fund can wait.)
Extended visit package (10 visits)
If you know you'll want the extra time of an extended visit, prepaying for 10 of them saves you 10%.
Today's rates
10 extended visits at $81 each. Pay-as-you-go today: $900, so you save $90. After January 1 this package goes to $1,125, so buying by December 31, 2026 saves you another $315.
Starting January 1, 2027
10 extended visits at $112.50 each. Pay-as-you-go: $1,250, so you save $125.
As with all prepaid packages, you can pay by cash, check, HSA/FSA, or card, and the discount doesn't apply to intake or re-evaluation visits.
Golden Bear Membership (starting January 1, 2027)
Prefer regular care on a steady schedule? Starting January 1, 2027, you can pay one price each month for a set number of visits and save 10%. Choose regular visits (30 minutes) or extended visits (45 minutes, with more time for exam and care). There is no contract, and you can cancel anytime. Just starting care? Begin with an intake visit, then join. Not sure a membership is right for you? A 10-visit package gives you the same 10% savings with no monthly commitment. How billing works: You pay once a month, on the day you sign up. Memberships are month to month, and you can cancel any time before your next billing date. Visits do not roll over to the next month. You can pause for up to one month if you are traveling or sick. If your payment doesn't go through, we'll try once more. If it fails again, you can keep getting care and pay the regular price for each visit. Your first visit (intake) and re-evaluation visits are not part of the membership. You also can't use a membership at the same time as a prepaid 10-visit package. Regular-visit members can make any one visit an Extended Visit for $35 extra. Our 24-hour cancellation policy still applies to each appointment.
Ways to pay (every one of them fee-free)
Cash, check, HSA/FSA, and all major credit and debit cards, for single visits, 10-visit packages, and memberships alike. Planning to use HSA/FSA funds for a package or membership? Many plans only count a visit as eligible once it happens, not when it's prepaid, so check with your plan administrator first.
Golden Bear never passes card processing fees on to you. Some practices add a surcharge of up to 3% when you pay by card. We cover that cost ourselves, because a flat price should stay flat.
Why we're out-of-network with insurance
Golden Bear Chiropractic is the home of inclusive care at inclusive pricing. We're out-of-network with all insurance and non-participating with Medicare — on purpose. Accepting insurance would require itemizing every service, which raises costs for both the practice and patients, especially those in marginalized communities who may otherwise be priced out of care. Staying out-of-network is the only way we can keep our pricing inclusive and affordable for everyone.
Getting a receipt for reimbursement
Though we don't bill insurance directly, we'll provide a detailed superbill on request — including our EIN, Dr. Corey's NPI, your CPT codes, and the associated ICD-10 codes — for you to submit for reimbursement yourself. Please allow up to 3 weeks after your visit for this. We do our best to avoid denials, but every plan is different; if your insurer denies a claim, it's on you to get the reason for denial and bring it to your next visit. No one at Golden Bear will speak with your insurance company without a signed Health Information Release Form — outside of the superbill itself, insurance matters are your responsibility.
