Getting here from Castro Valley
From Castro Valley Blvd or the 580/238 interchange, it's about a 10-minute drive west into downtown San Leandro. The office at 151 Callan Ave, Suite 201 has free 2-hour parking in the adjoining lot, a nearby garage, or on the street — no need to deal with BART if you're driving in from the valley.
Judgment-free care, close to home
Golden Bear Chiropractic was built to close a gap in competent, judgment-free care for the LGBTQIA+, Leather, and Kink communities — and Castro Valley residents, allies included, get the exact same thorough, respectful care as everyone else who walks through the door.
What a visit looks like
A detailed history and physical exam, a treatment plan built around your specific complaint, and hands-on adjustments and muscle work the same day when appropriate. Pricing is flat and published before you book: currently $150 for the intake visit and $70 for a regular visit, with new rates taking effect January 1, 2027.
What Golden Bear helps with
Low back pain, sciatica, headaches, neck and shoulder pain, and the hip and shoulder tightness that builds up from hiking or a long commute are all common reasons to see a chiropractor, and all are treated here.
