We haven't raised our prices since 2025, and honestly, we'd love to be able to say that never again. But inflation has touched every business, ours included, and holding onto old pricing indefinitely isn't something we can keep doing while still giving every patient the same unhurried, hands-on care that's always been the point of this practice. So starting January 1, 2027 — giving everyone plenty of notice — our rates are updating for the first time in two years. Any visit booked and completed before that date is billed at today's rates.
The new rates
Intake visits move from $150 to $200, regular visits from $70 to $90, and extended and re-evaluation visits from $90 to $125. Nothing about a visit itself is changing — the exam, the adjustment, the hands-on muscle work, and the time we spend with you stay exactly the same. And one number isn't moving at all: card fees. They were $0 before, they're $0 now, and they'll stay $0. Pay by card and you pay the posted price, period.
Why now, and why we don't take this lightly
This isn't a decision we made casually. We built Golden Bear to make good care affordable and judgment-free, and we know a price increase lands hardest on some of the patients who need this practice most. But the honest truth is that the cost of running this practice hasn't stood still since 2025, even though our prices have — and a practice that can't sustain itself can't keep showing up for anyone. This update is what lets us keep doing this work, for you, for years to come.
Lock in today's pricing before the new year
If you buy a 10-visit package before December 31, 2026, your visits are honored at current pricing, even for visits used after January 1, 2027. Packages never expire, and the price you pay when you buy covers your care even if our prices go up again later. It's a small way of saying thank you to the patients who've been with us. And just like last time, we hold off on price increases for as long as we possibly can. We aim for this one to be the last for a long while!
Introducing GBC Membership, also starting January 1
Alongside the new rates, we're launching a membership for patients who like the rhythm of regular care. Members get a set number of visits each month at 10% off our visit rates, billed monthly instead of paying at each visit. For regular visits, Maintenance is 1 visit a month for $81, Steady is 2 for $162, and Focused is 4 for $324. For extended visits, Extended Maintenance is 1 a month for $112.50, Extended Steady is 2 for $225, and Extended Focused is 4 for $450.
Your card is charged monthly on the date you sign up, with no card fee added. Memberships are month-to-month with no contract, so you can cancel any time before your next billing date, and you can pause for up to a month if you're traveling or under the weather. Intake and re-evaluation visits are billed at standard rates, and memberships can't be combined with prepaid 10-visit packages. Not sure a membership is right for you? Golden Bear is still, and will always be, out-of-network with insurance on purpose — one flat price, no itemized billing, no surprise charges.
