We haven't raised our prices since 2025, and honestly, we'd love to be able to say that never again. But inflation has touched every business, ours included, and holding onto old pricing indefinitely isn't something we can keep doing while still giving every patient the same unhurried, hands-on care that's always been the point of this practice. So starting January 1, 2027 — giving everyone plenty of notice — our rates are updating for the first time in two years. Any visit booked and completed before that date is billed at today's rates.
The new rates
Intake visits move from $150 to $200, regular visits from $70 to $90, and extended and re-evaluation visits from $90 to $125. Nothing about a visit itself is changing — the exam, the adjustment, the hands-on muscle work, and the time we spend with you stay exactly the same.
Why now, and why we don't take this lightly
This isn't a decision we made casually. We built Golden Bear to make good care affordable and judgment-free, and we know a price increase lands hardest on some of the patients who need this practice most. But the honest truth is that the cost of running this practice hasn't stood still since 2025, even though our prices have — and a practice that can't sustain itself can't keep showing up for anyone. This update is what lets us keep doing this work, for you, for years to come.
Lock in today's pricing before the new year
If you purchase a 10-visit package before December 31, 2026, that package is honored at current pricing — even for visits used after January 1, 2027. It's a small way of saying thank you to the patients who've been with us, and a real chance to lock in today's rates for a while longer if that helps.
What stays the same
Golden Bear is still, and will always be, out-of-network with insurance on purpose — one flat price, no itemized billing, no surprise charges.
